Fair..........

I went to fair last night and I personally love fair ground rides....

But all your trust lies in the harness - to keep you safe and free from harm.

When you are swinging round and round and upside down you expect to be safe because the harness is keeping you in.

I guess that is what God is like - life tosses you from side to side and twists you in one direction then quickly in another.  It sometimes travels so slow and then before you realise is is whooshing by you at a speed that takes your breathe away.  But God is constant.  He is keeping you safe.  Keeping you free from harm.  God will never let you go....

Channel Four.......

This evening I watched a programme called 'The Virgin Daughters" on channel four.  It was all about purity and sex before marriage. I have to be truthful it totally freaked me.   I really believe that marriage is sacred and an act that shouldn't be taken into lightly, I also whole- heartedly  believe that you should save yourself for marriage. Saving yourself however I don't believe means you cant hold hands or kiss.  God isn't going to be upset with you because you kissed a boy at the age of 15, you aren't going to be unclean for holding someone of the opposites sex hand.  It makes me think what impression are we giving to younger non-Christians, 'if you become a Christian you cant hold you boyfriend/girlfriends hand until you're married'; that is insane and frankly I don't think 98% of young people will buy into. Also no offense to my Dad, however I don't want him to pick my future husband.  If my previous boyfriends asked my Dads permissi...

Search Me.......

Ok, I cant sleep and cant say I am impressed by it. I have a busy day tomorrow so really need my sleep - but whatever I do is not helping. I have gone for a drive, sat by the sea, walked along the front, counted sheep you name it I have done it!!! So I de cided to sort out my IPod. It has so much rubbish on and thought it would be good to get some new stuff on it for the holiday period.
